Learn how to warm up your LinkedIn account to ensure maximum results and avoid getting your account flagged.
If you’re looking to get the most out of your LinkedIn account, you need to warm it up first. Just like any new email account, new LinkedIn accounts need to be warmed up before using it at its full potential. This means connecting to only 1-2 people per day manually, and then, through the power of automation, gradually increasing those numbers to 100+ people per day. This will help you avoid getting your account flagged by LinkedIn. Once your account is warmed up, you can start increasing the number of connection requests. As a rule of thumb, we would NOT recommend sending more than 250 connections per day. To keep things in perspective, try to aim your connection requests for around 3-5% (magic number) of your total LinkedIn connections. If you have a free LinkedIn account, we recommend sending up to around 50 connection requests per day, once your account is warmed up. And if you have a LinkedIn Sales Navigator (Premium Account), it might be around 70-90 connection requests per day.
