Product tours are a great way to help customers (and/or free trials) to adopt your product and reach the "Ahá!" moment. The first step is to map the user flow when using your product or a feature of your product, to see the step-by-step process they follow to interact with it. You can use tools like Hotjar and Amplitude to collect data on this and discover powerful insights. This will allow you to set goals (e.g: 5% of our current trials convert to paid ones -> we want to increase this to a 7% in the next quarter). Once you have the data, you can use an app to build up product tours (like FROGED or Appcues). Based on the data you have and the user flow you built, create a tour that help your users adopt the product and make their lives better. After that, you should analyse the results, discover improvement points and iterate. Rinse and repeat!
